I think the rational people can tell the different between fake and real specialists. If you see the specialist on the TV to sell medicine in an extremely high price, don’t trust them. If they offer you practical advices, then you will know they are real.

进入二十一世纪，人类的科学技术得到了空前的发展，特别是计算机的应用与普及，改变着新一代人的生活方式和思想观念。计算机不再是实验室里的高科技仪器，它已悄悄地走进了普通家庭，也走进了教书育人的圣地――学校。计算机辅助教学（cai）成了教育界研究的重要课题。我校也建起了多媒体电教室、多媒体语言实验室、电教控制中心、电脑室。并在级组室配置了电脑。这些为实行电化教学，开展教育科研，打下了坚实的基础。本人藉着时代的机遇，借助学校先进的电教设备，开展了计算机辅助英语课堂教学的探索，并初具成效。
一、cai符合人类思维的特点，适应时代的发展
人类社会发展到今天，现代科技在各个领域中大显身手。而我们尽管还在使用着原始的教具：黑板、粉笔等，但投影、幻灯、录像机和电视机在课堂教学的`应用正在慢慢地改变我们的传统教学模式和教学观念。而计算机的加入更加快了课堂结构的改革。方便、快捷、功能强大的计算机融合了上述各种多媒体设备的功能，由于cai具有形象性、直观性、生动活泼、信息容量大、知识结构新、应用广、效率高、效果突出等特点，故cai成了电化教学的首选。
然而，cai是否适合高中英语教学？
诺贝尔奖获得者美国的斯佩里提出了“左右脑分工”理论，他认为：人的左脑是抽象思维的中枢，右脑则是形象思维的中枢。左右脑具有不同的功能。美国心理学家发现：当人们左右脑较弱的一方受到激励而与较强的一方合作时，会使大脑的能力和总效应增加五到十倍。这项研究表明：左脑负责言语，阅读书写，数学运算和逻辑推理，偏重于概念思维，适用于思维的实用化阶段；右脑知觉物体的空间关系，欣赏音乐和绘画，它偏重于直觉思维，长于形象思维，灵感思维。[1]我国现行英语课堂教学模式是重语言知识的教学，不重视启发想象；重做题能力的训练，不重视创造性思维的培养。学生惯用左脑少用右脑。学生“注意”的持久性和稳定性较弱。在课堂上运用cai，通过声音、图像等信息直接刺激学生的听觉和视觉，激发学生思维积极
